Exclusive photos from this year’s annual Hamptons Cup polo tournament

Pay a visit to the annual Hamptons Cup polo tournament, which happens every August at the Equuleus Polo Club in Water Mill, New York, and you’ll understand why, back in 1967, Ralph Lauren chose Polo as the name of his brand (despite having famously never been to a match). It’s a sport of uncommon beauty, athleticism, and style, all of which were on full display at last month’s event, which raised more than $500,000 for the Robin Hood Foundation, one of New York’s foremost charitable organizations focused on fighting poverty. Below, a few images from the event, captured on film.
