The finish of the leather is impeccable and makes for a very attractive tote that can double as a handbag. I was a little surprised by the inside. There are four swatches of leather matching the outside of the tote. I suspect the purpose is to reinforce the attachment of the handles to the tote. This just doesn't show in the photo of the interior of the tote.
