Details- A-line silhouette. Intended to hit at the lower calf.
- US size 8 has a 52" back body length and a 33" sleeve length. Body length and sleeve length are taken from the center back of the neck. Sleeve length changes 0.25" between sizes.
- Point collar. Snapped placket. Long sleeves with snapped barrel cuffs. Two front chest snapped-flap pockets.
- Western-style front and back yoke. Front and back princess seams. Comes with a self-belt.
- 100% cotton.
- Machine washable or dry clean. Imported.

Cotton Twill Shirtdress is rated out of 5 by 3.Rated 5 out of 5 by blessedimperfection from Beautifully tailored dress. This dress is beautifully tailored, all seams are well done and well placed. Construction is truly impeccable. I haven't shopped at Ralph Lauren for quite a while but I needed an understated but expensive looking dress for a movie premier event. I grew up and live on a working cattle ranch so the western attributes suit be very well. Sizing I compared the size 2 and the size 4 and ultimately decided on the size 2 because it fit my shoulder much better (but it coudn't be any smaller in the bust or I'd have to choose the 4). I am 5'4.5", weight around 125, 35" bust (32D or 34C bra size), 27' waist (I wear a size 26 in Levi's brand and most other jeans) and a 36" hip. Size 2 fist like its been made for me. In these two sizes the sleeves are almost the exact length of my arms (the size 2 being a little shorter and fits me perfectly) so if you have long arms this may be a problem. I also bought two of the concho belts to try with it, the thicker, heavier one and the thinner, smaller one. The heavy one is gorgeous! Thick leather and the metal has a great deal of weight but when trying with the dress the smaller belt ($95 for the "skinny leather belt w/ small conchos vs $598 for the "metal accent leather belt) fit my waist and body much better. Maybe because I'm petite the larger metal conchos didn't accentuate my waist as well, my waist looked thicker with the bigger belt. Just an added styling tip! I love this dress and will probably wear it for the rest of my life because it is that well constructed and timeless. I knew I had to have this one. Just perfect black cotton twill for fall and winter. Love the maxi length as I am 5'2, and the snaps are great. I wear a 12 and purchased the 12 and the fit is great, even the sleeves work. Very slimming and oh so fun to accessorize. Add a great waist clinching belt, or a great scarf, leopard belt and ballet flats, or pair with some great turquoise jewelry and a concho belt and boots.
